Replacement monitors for railway operator’s stands

Nothing lasts forever, but the S-Bahn series 472 in Hamburg run for decades. The CRT displays in the driver’s cab were worn out and had to be replaced. The original models had not been available for years and so EIZO Technologies came into play. Together with the railway supplier Funkwerk, we developed modern 10.4″ TFT displays which were able to replace the old CRT models precisely and ready-to-connect.
